More Info:

I am the certified teacher in Taiwan. My husband and I decided to pursue the graduate school in the US after 3-year teaching. Before coming to OPSU, I was the graduate assistant to teach technology seminars and sociology of education in the Benedum Five-Year Teacher Education at WVU. With the 10-year experiences from the hilly green mountain and forest in the East Coast, I enjoy the diverse cutural atmospheres after moving to the flat yellowish panhandle area of the Mid West!

For myself, teaching provides an opportunity for continual learning and growth. One of my hopes as an educator is to demonstrate a love of learning in students, as I share my own passion for learning with them. Students said that they learned a lot from me, but I do believe I learned a lot more than I actually gave them as a mentor. I have been empowered by my students academically and emotionally, as my students have been inspired by my teaching. It has been amazing for me to observe many changes in my students’ minds because my words have encouraged them to do their best. Also it has been fabulous for me to realize how individual students’ changes, whether miscellaneous or extraordinary, could bring changes among their families and their communities.
