Anthony Randle, Assistant Head Football Coach/Special Teams Coordinator/Linebackers
Randle played at Pittsburgh State University from 1995-96, and was named an honorable mention NCAA Division II All-American at defensive end by Football Gazette his senior year. He was also a two-time first team All-Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association selection. In 1995 he helped the Gorillas to a 12-1-1 record as PSU captured an MIAA Championship and was runner-up for the Division II title. Randle transferred to Pittsburgh State from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M where he was part of a team that played for the National Junior College Championship. He was also an All-State performer for the Weatherford (Okla.) High School football team that won two consecutive state championships from 1991-1992 while winning an individual state championship in the shot put in the spring of 1993. Coach Gaskamp on Coach Randle: "I was absolutely thrilled to be able to hire Coach Randle to the staff as the special teams coordinator/linebackers coach. He will bring fire and intensity to the program that the players will find to be infectious as well as a no-nonsense attitude that the players will respect. He and his family will be a great addition to the OPSU campus. Coach Randle will recruit the state of Oklahoma, the southwest part of Kansas, and the Kansas Junior Colleges."
