Academic Resource Center

Located in the McKee Library, the Academic Resource Center’s (ARC) mission is to support faculty by providing services to empower students with reaching their academic and personal goals within a community-based environment.

 

ARC fulfills its mission by:

  • Facilitating OPSU’s “Progress Through Knowledge” mission statement
  • Building support systems to assist students through their university experience such as peer mentoring, accountability groups, group advising, counseling, and disability services
  • Partnering with departments across campus to maximize resources
  • Engaging with employers to build career paths for students
  • Administering the Pearson VUE Testing Center, Accuplacer, National and Residual ACT Exams, Accommodations Testing, and CLEP Exams
