Course Description:
Students should acquire general knowledge about American government and politics, including the U.S. Constitution, American political culture institutions (the U.S. Congress, the presidency, executive branch, and the Supreme Court, and participation (voting, elections, political parties, and interest groups), sufficient to enable them to interpret current events and carry out their responsibilities as citizens.
