Course Description:
This course is designed for the student who needs to improve or review basic math skills and concepts.  This course includes computation using integers, fractions, decimals, proportions, and percents, along with an overview of measurements, geometry, statistics, linear equations, fundamentals of graphing, exponents, and polynomial operations.  Pre Algebra provides the mathematical foundations upon which subsequent studies in mathematics and other areas depend.  Course will not fulfill any graduation requirements.  A grade of C is the minimum for passing.
Comments:  Students may buy the book through the OPSU Bookstore.  By purchasing the book, one purchases the validation code to license him or her to use the PLATO Academic Systems Algebra program.  The student may not get a used license from another person.
