Mathematics is a method of searching for patterns in information and communicating the nature of those patterns. If you like to solve numerical or geometrical puzzles and also like to get paid for doing so, then majoring in mathematics could be a good choice for you.

BS Mathematics

Students interested in mathematics can obtain a bachelor of science in mathematics at OPSU. There are two options available. The teaching option is designed primarily for students interested in teaching or administration of K-12. The academic option is designed for students interested in employment in education, industry, or government.

Mathematics Minor

A minor in mathematics can increase your prospects for employment.

Physics

Physics courses are offered to support majors in other areas such as science, agriculture, and education.
