Offical Centennial Logo

The OPSU Centennial Committee has been hard at work planning events and special projects to celebrate OPSU's Centennial. The dedicated group of volunteers seeks funding for the many ambitious projects and events listed below. A special account has been set up through the Panhandle State Foundation for donations, and contributors may choose which project to support. Contact foundation@opsu.edu. See the downloadable brochure in the menu to the left for more information.

Projects:

OKLAHOMA STATEHOOD DISPLAY AT OPSU - In November 2007, the shape of the State of Oklahoma was constructed southwest of Hughes-Strong Hall, and three redbud trees were planted to honor the Oklahoma Centennial. Eventually, the inside of the state outline will be filled with personalized bricks which may be purchased to help defray the expenses of the OPSU Centennial. Current OPSU students may purchase a brick for $25; OPSU alumni and friends may buy a brick for $50. Bricks may honor a graduate, family, class, course, club, event, team, department, business, etc. To order a brick, contact the Foundation Office of Sara Jane Richter or Troy Morris or click on the "Brick Form" in the menu to the left.
