Volleyball Takes on St. Mary's

—By Daulton Perry on 09/28/2012 Goodwell, Okla.—The Aggie volleyball team was finally back in action at home Thursday night, and they faced a tough St. Mary's team who came to town with an 8-5 record and a 2-2 Heartland Conference record.

In set one, the Aggies came out with a strong start, but the little errors began to build up and St. Mary's came back to win 25-15. The Rattlers kept their momentum going into set two and the Aggies fell 25-16. St. Mary's also took set three 25-18 and a 3-0 match victory to improve their record to 9-5. The Aggies now fall to 3-11 on the season. Erica Skipper led the team with ten kills and 14 digs and Kayla Schwartz led the Aggies with 20 assists.

The next game for the Aggies is Saturday, September 29 against Texas A&M International at 11 a.m. inside Oscar Williams Field House. Admission is free.
