OPSU Drops Match against DBU

—By Laura Nelson on 10/05/2012 Dallas, Texas—The Oklahoma Panhandle State University volleyball team (3-13, 0-6) lost on the road in straight sets (25-17, 25-11, 25-13) Thursday night against Dallas Baptist University (10-5, 6-1), the second place team in the Heartland Conference.

Erica Skipper and Jessica DeBaun earned six kills apiece and Sara Koster added five to the 25 total for the Aggies compared to 40 total kills scored by the Patriots. Kayla Schwartz led OPSU with 14 assists and Skipper had eight digs.

The Aggies take on an NAIA team, Huston-Tillotson University, in Austin this evening at 6 p.m. The team remains in Austin for a conference game Saturday at noon against St. Edward's.
