**For Immediate Release** Get in the Game for OPSU Homecoming! —By Justine Gaskamp on 10/12/2012 Goodwell, Okla.—Are you ready to Get in the Game for Oklahoma Panhandle State University's Homecoming? The OPSU Student Association, Student Activities, Aggie Athletics, Panhandle State Association of Alumni and Friends and the Guymon Chamber of Commerce join forces to make homecoming week, Oct. 22-27, an exciting time for all.

This year the fun begins for everyone on Thursday, Oct. 25 from 5-7:00 p.m. for the Guymon Chamber of Commerce Business after Hours Tailgate hosted by OPSU. The tailgate will be held at the OPSU Guymon Classroom and is free to the public.

Activities continue on campus throughout the week including a monopoly tournament benefitting Phi Beta Lambda in the Aggie Grill on Friday, Oct. 26 from 2-4:00 p.m. Monopoly players of all ages can register the day of the tournament for $5.00 per entrant. A cash prize is given to the winning player.

Friday evening, everyone is invited to Rev Up the spirit at the pep-rally and cook-out outside of the Oscar Williams Field House from 4-6:00 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 27, enjoy the parade starting at 10:30 a.m. followed immediately by the free Alumni BBQ on the Plaza. The theme this year is "Get in the Game" and participants are encouraged to think about board games, video games, card games, game shows, etc. when working on parade floats. Themes must be school appropriate and the public is welcome to enter floats. Parade entries must be received by noon on Friday, Oct. 26 and can be submitted to the OPSU Student Association. Inquiries can be made at 580-349-1363 or senate@opsu.edu. The honored family for this year's homecoming festivities will be the Tuttle family.

Of course it wouldn't be homecoming without the Aggie football game to top everything off and the crowning of the Homecoming King and Queen at halftime. Football kicks off at 1:00 p.m., so come early, wear red, and prepare to get rowdy as the Aggies take on Southwestern Assemblies of God!
