Home Basketball this Week

—By Laura Nelson on 11/29/2012 Goodwell, Okla.—The two Aggie basketball teams will be at home this week with a game this evening and another contest Saturday afternoon.

Tonight the OPSU women, now 2-5 on the season, play the Oklahoma Christian University Eagles (3-3) at 5:30 p.m. The Eagles are currently transitioning from NAIA to NCAA Division II and the team is not yet a full member of the Heartland Conference. Even though tonight's game is not considered conference play, the Aggies will have their hands full as OC leads the Conference in a number of statistical categories including offensive scoring and rebounding. Tonight's game is sponsored by Bester Western Guymon Hotel & Suites.

On Saturday at 2 p.m., the men (3-3) play an early season conference game against Dallas Baptist University (2-4), and the match-up should provide an exciting game that will be sponsored by Guymon Vision Clinic.

Plan to cheer on the OPSU Aggies and enjoy some great college basketball! Admission to OPSU basketball games is $5 for adults, $2 for children 12 and under and senior citizens aged 65 and above. Children under five and OPSU students are admitted free. OPSU faculty and staff and immediate family will also be admitted free with an ID.
