Fall Enrollment Underway Released by OPSU Campus Communications on 07/17/2014
Goodwell, Okla. — Summertime is flying by which means a new school year is just around the corner. Don’t let the fall semester sneak up on you, enroll today! Whether you are looking for an entire degree plan or one course, OPSU has a place for you!
Fall classes begin August 13 and now is a great time to enroll. The OPSU Admissions Office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or students may choose to enroll at one of the remaining OPSU Enrollment Days on July 18 or August 8. Enrollment days are intended to make the enrollment process as smooth as possible for new students providing them the opportunity to meet with faculty members to discuss enrollment in addition to meeting with OPSU staff members in areas such as housing and financial aid. Each student in attendance will be entered into a drawing for scholarship that covers 15 credit hours of tuition for the upcoming fall and spring semesters.
Concurrent enrollment is available to students that are still in high school. These students must be classified as a high school junior or senior. Each student must have taken the National ACT or SAT test and an ACT test score of 19 must be achieved in the area where study will be pursued and meet specific grade point average (GPA) or ACT score requirements. Oklahoma high school students will receive a tuition and fee scholarship. High school students have the option to take classes on campus in Goodwell or through Interactive Television (ITV) as offered by their high school.
For more information regarding concurrent enrollment or questions about general enrollment, please contact Dara Short in the OPSU Admissions Office at 580-349-1374. A listing of courses being offered in the fall can be viewed online at http://www.opsu.edu/dwn/CATS_2014_Summer_&_Fall_Schedule.pdf.
