Wild With Pride Homecoming Parade

Released by Panhandle State Campus Communications on 10/18/2017

Goodwell, Okla. — Planning for Oklahoma Panhandle State University’s Homecoming celebration is in full force and you are invited to join in the festivities! Entries are open for the ever popular homecoming parade.

“Wild With Pride” is this year’s homecoming theme and the celebration is set for October 28. The day is sure to be jam packed with loads of fun for all ages.

The Panhandle State Student Senate homecoming committee would like to invite all area businesses, local organizations, and campus clubs to participate. When working on parade floats, participants are encouraged to think about the new changes on campus and the pride at Panhandle State. Themes must be school appropriate.

The parade will start at 10:30 a.m. and follow the usual parade route through Goodwell. The parade line-up will begin at 10 a.m. in the Noble Center parking lot.

Prize money will be awarded to the top three floats: $300 for first place, $200 for second place, and $100 for third place.
