Tulsa, Okla.—The Panhandle State women's basketball team competed in their first of two exhibition matchups last week, taking an 88-35 loss on the road to Oral Roberts University of the NCAA Summit League.

The Aggies went in to halftime down by 29 points (45-16), delivering 23 of those points off 17 turnovers. The second half ball security was equally detrimental, matching 23 points off 17 second-half turnovers. Panhandle's positive performances came from Madison Dearmin and Addison Munsch, along with solid shooting beyond the arc from Monti Regier, Shambri Kelso and Bree-Ann Carwin who each added three points on long-distance shots. Munsch led the team in scoring with 12 points and Dearmin led at the boards with seven rebounds in the game. Hannah Faulks also put in good a good defensive effort, credited with three blocks and one steal on the Golden Eagles.

Starting with a clean slate, the Aggies host a second exhibition game this week with a matchup against NCAA Division II rivals Northwestern Oklahoma State. The contest is set for Tuesday, Nov. 21 at 6 p.m. in Anchor D Arena.
