Join Images Art Club with the Angel Tree Project

Released by Panhandle State Campus Communications on 11/28/2017

Goodwell, Okla. — Join the Images Art Club during this season of giving and make the Angel Tree a part of your Christmas tradition!

Each year, Images has a tree in the Oklahoma Panhandle State University Student Union full of special Angels from the area that are in need. This Angel Tree attempts to bring some sunshine into lives at Christmas time by providing much needed clothing items, and other wished-for toys to children who are a little less fortunate. In truth, these gifts can give children food for the soul, the hope of a brighter future, and the reassurance that someone does indeed care about them.

To adopt an Angel, start with a caring heart, kindness, and generosity. Then stop by the Student Union on campus and pick an Angel off the tree. Next purchase a gift appropriate for the age and gender of the child and insert the gift into a festive Christmas sack with the identifying angel tag attached. Last, bring the gift to the Angel Tree drop box in Hesper Hall by November 30th and the Images Art Club “Santas” will deliver the packages.
