Baseball to Host First Annual Banquet and Silent Auction

By Alyssa Fox on 02/06/2018

Goodwell, Okla.—On Sunday, Feb. 18 the Panhandle State Baseball team will host the SAC First Pitch Banquet. The event will take place at Hunny's BBQ in Guymon with doors opening at 5:45 p.m.

Guests will be treated to a meet and greet with the coaching staff and players beginning at 6 p.m., followed by a private dinner provided by Hunny's, ticket raffle, and a silent auction starting at 6:30 p.m. The auction will include pro-signed memorabilia, original print and hand painted photos, valuable antique collectables, team apparel, and dinner with the coaching staff. Auction winners will be announced after dinner at 7:30 and winning patrons may pay for their items that evening with cash, check or credit card.

Panhandle State faculty and staff, athletic administration, and proud supporters of Panhandle State Baseball are all welcome to attend this exciting event. Ticket cost is $16 per ticket, and includes the price of the dinner buffet and one raffle ticket. Event tickets can be purchased at the door on the evening of the event, or pre-purchased via TicketRoar on the school website, under the 'Fan Central' tab. Additional raffle tickets for the prize drawing will also be available for purchase at the event for $4 per ticket.

The coaching staff is eager for the spring season to get underway and hope all can attend their first annual banquet and silent auction to help kick off their first at-home Sooner Athletic Conference series of the year as they take on the Mid-America Christian Evangels on February 16-17.
