Lady Aggies to Host Summer Basketball Clinics

Released by Panhandle State Sports Information on 02/27/2018

Goodwell, Okla.—Panhandle Area girls interested in improving their skills on the court, will have the opportunity to learn from the best this summer, as the Aggie Women's Basketball team hosts two summer sessions specifically designed for female athletes.

The Lady Aggies will offer an Elite Camp June 4-6 for girls entering grades 9-12. Junior varsity and varsity girl's teams are invited to take part in the Lady Aggies Summer League Classic June 7-9. Both camps will be held on-campus at Oklahoma Panhandle State University, with clinics taking place both in Anchor D Arena at the Oscar Williams Field House and the Noble Activity Center.

The emphasis of the Elite Camp is to teach and develop advanced fundamental skills of all players. The Aggie coaches and athletes will focus on each individual and what they need to better themselves on the court. This Elite Camp is designed for determined players who desire to reach their maximum potential. The camp offers guard and post concentration with next-level offensive and defensive concepts. Dorm rooms will be offered to overnight campers with three meals a day included; commuter rates are also available. Each camper will receive a free t-shirt.

The Summer League Classic will give groups a chance to compete as teams during the off-season in an organized and competitive situation. Each team will be guaranteed a minimum of ten games, offering a chance to build chemistry and skill among teammates. Each participant will receive a free t-shirt at check-in, and teams are encouraged to RSVP by May 20 to ensure their spot in the league.

All campers and participants will be required to provide proof of insurance and other medical information as requested on the camp applications. Athletic trainers will be provided at game sites, and campers will need to bring their own athletic gear, basketball attire and towel/personal items. Overnight guests for the Elite Camp will need to bring their own bed linens, pillow and towel.

Registration forms and pricing is available online at under the "Support the Aggies" tab in the "Camps" link. For more information contact Assistant Coach Denise Levine at 580-349-1326 or by email at
