**For Immediate Release** OPSU Golfers Compete in Wichita Tournament By Scott Puryear of OPSU Sports on 10/07/2009 Goodwell, Okla. — On Monday and Tuesday, nearly twenty college golfers competed in the Newman University Fall Invitational Men’s Tournament in Wichita, Kansas.

Julian Figueroa was the top finisher for Oklahoma Panhandle State with rounds of 76 (on Monday) and 83 (Tuesday) for a 36-hole total of 159, which was good for eighth place.

Other OPSU finishers were Tyler Harper at 181 (90-91), Shane Rice at 184 (95-89), and Jake Strain who scored 201 (102-99).
