**For Immediate Release** 2010-2011 Scholarships Available through the Panhandle State Foundation By Charmen Rider on 02/04/2010 Goodwell, Okla. — Do you plan to attend OPSU for the 2010-2011 school year or know someone who does? If so, take a moment and look into the scholarships offered through the Panhandle State Foundation. It could be well worth your time. Panhandle State Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and its primary mission is support of Oklahoma Panhandle State University. Thanks to the generosity of faithful donors, the Foundation has been able to continually assist the students of OPSU fulfill their dreams of higher education.

For the 2009-2010 year, the Foundation awarded 184 scholarships directly to OPSU students totaling over $144,000. There will be approximately 180 scholarships awarded for 2010-2011 in a wide variety of categories and varying degrees of requirements. All current and potential students are encouraged to apply. Scholarship packets for 2010-2011 can be picked up at the Foundation Office, Sewell-Loofbourrow Building, Room 207 on the OPSU campus in Goodwell or downloaded at www.opsu.edu.
