**For Immediate Release** A Fun Sunday in the OPSU Gym By Scott Puryear of OPSU Sports on 02/04/2010 Goodwell, Okla. — Though there was still plenty of the white stuff left over outside from the snowfall that began on Thursday, it was a fun Sunday afternoon of basketball in the OPSU gym as an enthusiastic crowd watched both the Aggies and the Lady Aggies earn Heartland Conference victories.
The afternoon had a special meaning as it was part of a nationwide recognition of the work done by the American Cancer Society.
The event was presented at no charge to the public thanks to the sponsorship of Panhandle Printing. Owner Larry Stump was honored at a halftime ceremony and presented with a basketball signed by the members and coaches of the Aggie and Lady Aggie teams.
