Honor Society to Conduct Initiation Sunday

The Oklahoma Zeta Chapter of the national honor society Alpha Chi will hold its spring initiation ceremony this Sunday, April 17 on the Oklahoma Panhandle State University campus. Students from any academic arena—from art to zoology—are eligible to join Alpha Chi. OPSU juniors with a GPA of 3.75 and seniors with a GPA of 3.5 are invited to Oklahoma Zeta membership each fall semester and each spring semester.
Sunday’s spring initiates include Katie Park, an English major from Kansas City, Kansas; Toby Arnold, an agronomy major from Cozad, Nebraska; Laura Boese, an elementary education major from Hugoton, Kansas; Marcus Mallard, a Guymon, Oklahoma, resident majoring in English and art; music major Lori Acevedo of Guymon; Rajeanna Manross, from Perryton, Texas, an English major; Lani McKee, a biology student from Brewster, Washington; Emma Torres, an elementary education major from Ulysses, Kansas; Kristin Skaggs, a biology education student from Goodwell; Ashley Hladik, an art major from Liberal, Kansas; and Jeffrey First, a Carnegie, Oklahoma, art major.
