56th Annual Bull Sale Summary

Goodwell, Okla. -- The 56th Annual Oklahoma Panhandle State University Performance Tested Bull Sale was held Monday, February 25, 2008. Sixty-seven bulls brought $147,100.00 for an average of $2,194.00. The top selling twenty-five bulls averaged $3,086.00. An Angus bull consigned by Larry Weinkauf, Orlando, Okla. was the top selling bull at $6,200.00. The bull is a son of GAR 1407 New Design 9594 and sold to Bailey Patterson of Spearman, Texas. Two bulls sold for $4,000 each. Phil Light’s Test No. 21-2, a son of Morgans Direction III 9901 sold to Conrad Van Kooten of Long Island, Kansas. Another Phil Light bull, Test No. 24-3, another son of Morgans Direction, sold to Lloyd Moore Inc. of Oberlin, Kansas.
