Golf Course Reopens!

Goodwell, Okla. — Cool, rainy weather delayed the reopening of the Oklahoma Panhandle State University golf course, but has done nothing to dampen the spirits of those waiting to play. After months of work, it opens for public play on Friday, June 1, and golfers will enjoy the well-groomed fairways on the par 3, nine-hole course. A grand reopening celebration will be held when students return for the fall semester.
The course has long been a popular place for families to enjoy a round together, beginning golfers to hone their skills and low-handicappers to improve their short game.
The greens fee for an individual round remains a bargain at $3 per day, but consider an annual membership. If purchased now, members play free for the month of June. Memberships run from July 1 through June 30 of the following year. Please note that membership dues will not be prorated and are payable at the Business Office window in Sewell-Loofbourrow.
