Interns
Report to Schools

On Monday, September 19, nine OPSU education
students faced the day that some of them thought might never
get here — their
first day of student teaching. After attending classes for
four years, they now have the opportunity to put into practice
what they have been learning in their education courses.
The teacher candidates who will be completing their internship
this fall include:

The interns will complete a 12-week assignment at their schools,
returning to the OPSU campus for a mid-term seminar November
1, and will complete their internship on December 9, 2005.
This is the final requirement in their quest to become licensed
teachers in Oklahoma and/or other states.
OPSU appreciates the following schools for providing experienced
teachers to supervise and instruct OPSU student interns, including
Hugoton, KS; Liberal, KS, Guymon, OK; Garber, OK; and Gruver,
TX.
