Goodwell, Okla. -- Representing five
states, 250 area youth and their families brought their show
animal projects to Oklahoma Panhandle State University’s
England Activity Center on Sunday, May 28. The judge, Dr.
John Rayfield of Lubbock, Texas, evaluated 86 hogs, 52 lambs,
and 59 head of cattle.
OPSU’s Livestock Judging Coach and Instructor, Aaron
Preator, remarked, “The show provides another opportunity
for the youth to have their animals judged by a professional
and also gives them more practice in the show ring. Dr. Rayfield
is one of the most respected judges in the business.” Preator
