Goodwell, Okla. - Oklahoma Panhandle State University seeks to provide area residents with high quality, low cost education. With the opening of the Guymon Classroom and the increase in course offerings through our online portal, OPSU continues to seek innovative ways to bring instruction to more people.
Another modern addition to the way courses are offered is the use of Interactive Television, or ITV, classes. By utilizing state-of-the-art technology, instructors located hundreds of miles away can teach students on the OPSU campus. Four Oklahoma universities present complete Master’s programs through OPSU’s ITV option. East Central University in Ada offers a Master’s program in Library Science and Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford makes available a Master’s of Education as well as a Master’s of Business. Northwestern Oklahoma State out of Alva also offers Master’s of Education while the Oklahoma City campus of Oklahoma State University brings nursing classes to OPSU via ITV.
All of these programs provide all or nearly all of the coursework necessary to complete the degrees to the OPSU campus and all of them have a planned rotation of classes. A Master’s degree typically requires 30-36 hours of classes.
If you are interested in learning more about any of these programs, look up the individual university’s website and get started on a graduate program offered close to home!
