Goodwell, OK - In today’s fast paced world, the concept of Customer Service can sometimes get lost. Not so with Evi Meyer, Assistant to the Registrar at Oklahoma Panhandle State University.
Current and prospective students who come to the Admissions Office will be greeted with a smile and a caring attitude when they encounter Meyer, who takes her job very seriously. She has a wonderful sense of humor and very much enjoys helping people.
Meyer is a native of Germany who came to this country in 1963 and earned her citizenship in 1967. She began working for OPSU in 1998 and earned her degree there in 2003. During her days as a student (majoring in Business Administration), Meyer impressed her instructors with her hard work and positive attitude.
In her occupation, Meyer also works closely with the faculty at the university in several matters on a daily basis and is well known as a friendly professional, dedicated to her work.
One of Meyer’s biggest fans is her boss, Bobby Jenkins, OPSU Registrar. According to Jenkins, “Evi is the cornerstone of the Admissions Office. She is always upbeat, and I doubt that anyone knows more students on a first name basis than she does.”
The concept of Customer Service IS NOT lost with OPSU’s Evi Meyer. She understands it and practices it every day.
