No Man’s Land Museum Hosts Area Artisans

Goodwell, OK – Area artisans will
be demonstrating their crafts at the No Man’s Land
Museum in Goodwell, Okla. on Saturday, Oct. 29. The No
Man’s Land Historical Society is hosting saddlemaker
Glenn Hamilton of Texhoma, Okla., spinner Mary Olsen of
Oslo, Texas, and potter Cobos Leon of Oklahoma Panhandle
State University. Demonstrations will be during regular
museum hours. Saturday hours are 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1-3
p.m.
Also on special exhibit at the museum
are quilts by Pam Tyson of Higgins, Texas. A talented
artist, Tyson has been nationally and internationally
recognized for her work. Her quilt, “Doing the Wolf Creek Strut,” was
juried at the Houston International Show in 2004 and is
on display at the museum along with six other quilts until
Nov. 19.
The No Man’s Land Historical Society is pleased
to bring these demonstrations to the No Man’s Land
Museum with the help of a grant through the Oklahoma Arts
