Goodwell, Okla. - Oklahoma Panhandle State University continues to forge ahead in many areas, with one of them being advances in Online Learning. The University continues to widen the variety of courses offered in the online format and the classes have become quite popular with students in many different areas of the country as well as overseas.
Taking classes online is becoming an increasingly popular educational choice for students who deal with busy work and personal schedules as well as transportation and TIME. Though online classes are not easier than traditional classes, students are finding the overall experience with online classes to be very helpful in their pursuit of degrees as well as in their careers.
Online learning can also help individuals balance their work and their education. Learners have a set amount of tasks they must complete within specified time frames, but do not have to attend class meetings and can schedule their academic work around their other obligations.
During the current semester at OPSU - students are enrolled in online classes in Accounting, Business Administration, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Information Systems, Communications, Economics, English, History, Humanities, Management, Mathematics, Music, Nursing, Political Science and Psychology.
More online class offerings are currently in development and the schedule for the Spring Semester will be available soon.
Oklahoma Panhandle State University will be entering its second century of service in 2009 and Online Learning is just one component of THE OPSU EXPERIENCE.
