Fall Enrollment Underway at OPSU

Goodwell, Okla. - Whether you are
a current Oklahoma Panhandle State student, an incoming
student in the Fall, or someone just interested in what
OPSU has to offer . . . be sure to attend OPSU’s
Pre-Enrollment Workshop this Thursday.
Pre-enrollment has a number of benefits. By enrolling,
students ensure themselves seats in classes that have a
tendancy to fill and can schedule their classes around
work, practices and extra-curricluar activities. Students
will also be able to aviod the last minute enrollment rush
in August.
The workshop will begin at 9 a.m. in the Student Union
Ballroom. OPSU faculty and staff will be available to assist
current and prospective students with any questions they
may have about the admissions process, class scheduling,
campus housing, financial aid, scholarships, and degree
programs. Registration will last from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Thursday will also give incoming students an opportunity
to meet some of the instructors they will be taking classes
with in the fall. College placement tests will be offered
for those students who need them, and campus tours will
be conducted all day.
Students who have not yet been accepted must bring official
high school and/or college transcripts, ACT and SAT scores,
a completed OPSU admissions application, and a completed
out-of-state tuition waiver form, if applicable, supplemental
information sheet, immunization form, and a photo ID and
Social Security Card.
Those enrolling will be eligible to participate in drawings
where they may win great gifts from OPSU, Guymon Furniture,
Radio Shack, EPIC PCS, PTCI, the Guymon Gazette, the Guymon
Daily Herald and others. Refreshments will also be available.
