OPSU Participates in Summer Food Service Program

Goodwell, Okla.-- Texas
County Upward Bound will participate in the Summer Food
Service Program (SFSP) this summer as part of the Upward
Bound Summer Camp. The SFSP is a program administered
by the Oklahoma State Department of Education’s
Child Nutrition Program.
Oklahoma Panhandle State University is a closed site for
participants in the Texas County Upward Bound program.
Meals will be provided to all eligible children free of
charge. Acceptance and participation requirements for the
program and all activities are the same for all, regardless
of race, color, national origin, gender, age, or disability,
and there will be no discrimination in the course of the
meal service. Meals will be provided at OPSU at the following
times:
Tentative scheduling is from June 5-July14. SFSP meals
will be served in the OPSU cafeteria in the Student Union
Building.
Mondays: Lunch, 12-1 p.m.; Supper, 5-6 p.m.
Tuesdays-Fridays: Breakfast, 7:30-8 a.m.; Lunch, 12-1;
and Supper, 5-6 p.m.
