Boosters Enjoy OPSU Golf Course

Goodwell, Okla. - Approximately 40 golfers competed in the Texhoma Booster Club two person scramble golf tournament on Sunday, August 26 at the OPSU golf course. The event raised $500 to benefit Texhoma’s athletics programs. After nine holes of play, two teams turned in scores of 31, and a putt-off determined the overall winners – Paul Freeman and his son, Trey.
Organizations interested in using the golf course for a tournament may stop by the course and speak to Superintendent Curtis Hays or call Laura Hays at 580-349-1354 to schedule your event. With a charge of only $3 per player, the OPSU golf course offers a great value for your group’s fund raising activity. Following the major renovation, the greens, fairways, and tee boxes have been maintained in excellent condition. Fall is the perfect time for golf in the Panhandle, so plan your event today!
