Top Bulls Sell at Auction

Goodwell, Okla. — The 55th Annual Oklahoma Panhandle State University Performance Tested Bull Sale was held Wednesday, February 28, 2007. Sixty-six bulls brought $136,125.00 for an average of $2,062.00. The top selling twenty-five bulls averaged $2,916.00. An Angus bull consigned by Al Rutledge, Stillwater, OK was the top selling bull at $4,200.00. The bull is a son of CA Future Direction 5320 and sold to Charles Redfern of Manchester, OK. Three bulls sold for $4,000 each. Phil Light’s Test No.16-2, a son of SS Objective T510-0T26, sold to Conrad Van Kooten of Long Island, KS. Leroy Mindemann’s Test No.14-1, a son of Empirette 17 L95, sold to Glenford Bensch of Logan, OK and Tim Meier’s Test No. 23-1, a son of GAR New Design 9351, sold to the Circle Dot Ranch of Mobeetie, TX.
