Goodwell, Okla. — Oklahoma Panhandle State University
has been recognized by U.S.News & World Report in the
2007 edition of America’s Best Colleges. OPSU appears
in the “Best Comprehensive Colleges - Bachelor’s” category,
which includes institutions that focus on undergraduate
education and offer a variety of degree programs including
liberal arts and professional fields.
OPSU was ranked as one of the best in the
West, and criteria evaluated includes peer assessment,
average freshman retention rate, student-to-faculty ratio
and percentage of full-time faculty. Highlights of the
college rankings are scheduled for publication in the August
28 edition of U.S. News & World
