Another OPSU Student Athlete Honored

Goodwell, OK – Honors continue to come for student athletes at Oklahoma Panhandle State University, and this time it’s for a member of the Aggie golf team.
The school was recently informed that Travis Wilson has been honored as “Freshman Golfer of the Year” by the Heartland Conference. Wilson hails from Victoria, British Columbia and is a fine student (majoring in Medical Technology). He was recently named the school’s student athlete of the year for men’s golf.
Roger McKinnon, who coaches the men’s golf team, is extremely pleased with Wilson’s efforts and recently said, “If Travis continues to work hard, he has a chance to one of the best golfers ever to play at OPSU.”
