**For Immediate Release** Incarnate Word Takes Two Softball Games from OPSU -by Aggie Sports on 04/04/05 Goodwell, OK - A tough softball team representing the University of the Incarnate Word took two Games from the Lady Aggies of Oklahoma Panhandle State on Friday. Incarnate Word 14, LADY AGGIES 5 Five OPSU errors helped UIW score 11 runs in the third inning. OPSU’s Crystal Comeaux went two for three at the plate, Kendra Gladson doubled and Jacqueline Cornish had a thrilling stand-up triple. Incarnate Word 2, LADY AGGIES 1 Defensively, the Lady Aggies played very hard and very well, but just could not get enough runs across the plate in a very close game. UIW scored a run in each of the first two innings and with strong pitching, held on to for a 2-1 win. OPSU’s Kendra Gladson, one of the top hitters in the Heartland Conference, had two hits in three at bats.   -30-
