Goodwell, OK -
a chore taking care of lots of boys, but longtime Guymon
resident Glo Bressler enjoys helping care for 25 of them
. . . the Oklahoma Panhandle State baseball team.
Glo first became involved
with OPSU baseball last year when her son, K.D., joined
the team. She’s a fixture
at Aggie home games and is usually easy to spot, sitting
in the top row of the bleachers with her video camera and
ever-present OPSU ball cap and smile. Glo also likes to
cook and makes sure the team members have plenty of snacks
when they go on road trips.
Many of the Aggie players come from towns and cities great
distances from Goodwell, but with Glo around, each and
every one of them has someone who knows them by name and
cheers for them personally during each game.
To boys of all ages,
there’s nothing better than “Mom’s
Cooking,” and Glo says she’s happy to do it.
Her boys on the Aggie baseball team recently honored her
with flowers for her kindness and support.
