Three Lady Aggies Named All-Heartland

Goodwell, Okla. - Three Oklahoma Panhandle State women’s
basketball players have been recognized for their performances
this season by being named to the Heartland All-Conference
Teams.
OPSU junior Nina Kuleff picked up two
very big honors by being named to the first team as well
as the league’s Newcomer
of the Year. Kuleff, a 6’0 center from Phoenix, Ariz,
was first in the conference in defensive rebounds (7.17 pg),
second in steals (2.25 pg), second in overall rebounding (10.0
pg), fourth in blocks (1.0 pg), fourth in scoring (15.0 pg),
and fourth in field goal percentage (50%).
Senior guard Brandi Lewis and junior
guard Taneisha Rogers received Honorable Mention. The 5’7 Rogers from Houston,
Texas, was first in the league in 3-point shooting (2.33 pg)
and seventh in scoring (12.8 pg). The 5’6 Lewis from
Siloam Springs, Ark., was seventh in the conference in free
throw percentage (78%) and 14th in scoring (10.8 pg).
