Goodwell , Okla. - At the start of each year, Oklahoma Panhandle State basketball players and coaches work with area youngsters on skill development in the Little Dunkers basketball clinics. Little Dunkers gives boys and girls in grades 1-8 the opportunity to learn basketball skills and fundamentals while they compete as team members.
The 2007 clinics will take place on four Saturdays (January 13 and 27, as well as February 3 and 24). Sessions go from 9:00 a.m. – Noon each of the four days at the Noble Center on the OPSU campus. OPSU men’s coach Curt Connor and women’s coach Jerry Olson will be in charge, and they will be assisted by their coaching staff as well as current Aggie and Lady Aggie players.
Fees (that include all four sessions) are $50 for an individual, $75 for two participants, and $100 for a family. In addition to the valuable instruction, all Little Dunkers will receive A FAMILY PASS TO ALL OPSU MEN’S AND WOMEN’S BASKETBALL GAMES, a Little Dunkers T-Shirt, and an invitation to a Pizza Party with the Aggie and Lady Aggie players.
Parents are welcome to observe at the sessions. Enrollment forms are available at all OPSU home basketball games or by calling Stacy Nordquist at 580-349-1346.
