Goodwell, OK - The Cardinals of the University of the Incarnate Word held a 35-33 half-time lead over Oklahoma Panhandle State here on Wednesday night. The Aggies were not one bit happy about it and roared out of the locker room to take a 77-70 victory. OPSU lead by as many as 19 points in the final half.

Nick Malinowski, Aaron Harrison, Eddie Moss and William Preston did most of the damage in the big Aggie second-half run which saw them go from two points down to 16 points ahead in just over ten minutes of play.

It was the third straight victory for the Aggies, coached by Curt Connor.

Harrison turned in another fine performance with game highs of 22 points and 12 rebounds. Moss scored 20, including six 3-point bombs, and Malinowski scored 13. The dependable Preston dropped in ten points, and the hard-working Tim Anderson scored eight to go with his game high nine assists and three steals.

The Aggies will try for a fourth consecutive Heartland Conference win this Friday at 8:00 p.m. on their home court against St. Mary’s.
