Conference Scoring Lead
- by Scott Puryear of OPSU Sports on 2/12/07
- LaChawn Anderson, Oklahoma Panhandle State’s
talented basketball player, has been the hottest performer
in the Heartland Conference over the last two weeks.
Last Saturday night he
canned the game winning bucket with a three point bomb
in the Aggies’ big 63-62 win over a tough St.
Edward’s team, and in his last four outings he
has scored 38, 21, 27, and 28 points. Anderson has played
well all year for OPSU and his recent performances have
propelled him into the league scoring lead with a 16.9
A very tough player at
both ends of the court, the 6’4 Anderson is a
junior from Chicago. He’ll be in action with the
rest of the Aggies on Saturday night in Jefferson City,
Missouri against Lincoln University.
