Lady Aggies Fall to OSU in Exhibition Game

Goodwell, OK – On Friday, the Lady Aggies of Oklahoma Panhandle State traveled to Gallagher-Iba Arena on the Oklahoma State campus in Stillwater. The Lady Aggies lost to the OSU Cowgirls, 86-43 in an exhibition contest.

Nina Kuleff led the Lady Aggies with 13 points plus hauled down six rebounds. The always hard-working Diana Garduno also scored in double digits (ten points) and led her team in rebounds with eight.

Oklahoma State competes at the NCAA Division I level, while the Lady Aggies compete in Division II. OPSU’s coach, Jerry Olson, was disappointed in his team’s performance. Olson said that his team did not handle OSU’s height well and added that the Lady Aggies must play better if they are going to have a good season.

It was the final tune-up for the Lady Aggies before they open their regular season on Tuesday against Air Force in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
