Lady Aggies Fall to Central Oklahoma

Goodwell, Okla. - The University of Central Oklahoma defeated Oklahoma Panhandle State 91-54 in women’s basketball action in Edmond on Saturday afternoon. UCO hit over 60% of their shots from the field in the first half and held a 49-28 advantage at halftime.
Jasmine Williams led the Lady Aggies with 16 points, 11 rebounds, blocked a shot, and also came up with a pair of steals. Alisha Sladek scored nine points while Sarah Polson and Shelby Terry each netted six.
Polson and Ceara Brown each pulled down five rebounds for OPSU (now 5-6 on the year). With their win, UCO upped their season record to 8-3.
The Lady Aggies will be back in action on Thursday, January 10 on their home court against the University of the Incarnate Word. That contest will be the Lady Aggies’ opening game in Heartland Conference play.
