Goodwell,
OK - Statistics released
on Monday by the Heartland Conference office show Oklahoma
Panhandle State players Nina Kuleff and Brandi Lewis among
the leaders in several statistical categories in women’s
basketball.
Kuleff, from Phoenix, Arizona, currently stands first in rebounding
(10.4 per game), and third in blocked shots (1.3 per game).
The six foot junior also sports a 12.0 scoring average, making
her the only Heartland player averaging in double numbers in
both scoring and rebounding.
Lewis, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, established
herself as the best long range shooter and ball handler in
the league last year and is showing the same this season.
The 5’6
senior is currently second in three-pointers per game (2.1),
third in scoring (15.5 points per game), fourth in assists
(2.6 per game), and fifth in free throw percentage (.849).
The next action for the Lady Aggies (6-4) will be this Sunday
afternoon against a very good Missouri Southern team. Tip-off
is set for 2:00 p.m. in Oscar Williams Fieldhouse on the OPSU
campus.
