Lady Aggies Showing Well in Conference Stats

Goodwell, OK - Three players from the women’s basketball team at Oklahoma Panhandle State University continue to rank high in the newest statistics released by the Heartland Conference.

Brandi Lewis is averaging in the top five in three offensive categories. The senior is third in scoring average (15.4), fifth in free throw percentage (.821), and second in three pointers per game (2.0).

Tough inside player Nina Kuleff, a junior, leads the league in rebounds per game (9.8) and is third in shot blocking (1.18 per game).

Sarah Furgeson, the outstanding Lady Aggie freshman, is third in assists with a 3.18 per game average.

The next action for the OPSU women will be Friday night at 7:00 on their home court against New Mexico Highlands. The Lady Aggies (6-5) will be looking to avenge a 54-51 loss to NMH earlier this month.
