OPSU’s Lewis Named Conference Player of the Week

Goodwell, OK - Brandi Lewis, Oklahoma Panhandle State University’s hot shooting guard, has been named the Heartland Conference Player of the Week.

Lewis, a 5’6”senior from Siloam Springs, Arkansas, burned the nets last week for 27 points against New Mexico Highlands.

Last season, Lewis was named the league’s Newcomer of the Year. This season, she leads the Heartland in three-point field goals made and is fourth in scoring with 16.3 points per game. In addition to her scoring skills, Lewis is an excellent senior leader as well as an outstanding student in the classroom.
