OPSU Runners Perform in Colorado Meet

Goodwell, Okla. - Last weekend, the men’s and women’s Cross Country teams from Oklahoma Panhandle State University competed in the big meet in Alamosa, Colorado hosted by Adams State University.
The women ran a 5K race and the men’s course covered five miles.
The top finisher for the Lady Aggies was Alecia Havens, with a time of 24:14. Other team members representing OPSU were Faith Long, Jeanna Cramer, Joni Bolen, Carrie Kliewer, and Genna Buettner.
In the men’s competition, Stephen Clark was the top Aggie finisher – covering the five mile course in 33:33. Other OPSU performers included Jeff Flanagan, Mark McCall, Jordan Flanagan and Hector Cobos.
Nikki Cothran coaches both OPSU squads and they are among the hardest working student athletes on campus.
