OPSU Cross Country Runners Continue to Work Hard

Goodwell, OK - Among the most dedicated student athletes
on the Oklahoma Panhandle State campus are those who compete
in Cross Country.
Coached by Nancy Mitchell, both the OPSU
men’s and women’s
teams work hard in their competitions and the teams usually
rank at or near the top of the Heartland Conference in their
overall academic ranking.
At the recent conference meet in Dallas,
the men’s team
finished fifth (with Eddie Moss as the top finisher for the
Aggies) and the Lady Aggies finished sixth (with Danae Fieser
as the top OPSU runner).
Moss finished 17th among the men with a time of 31:07 and
Fieser placed 25th among the women with a time of 23:23.
Places and times for the rest of the
OPSU men were: Jose Yarid - 25th place (33:32); Bowen Anderson – 26th place (36:03);
Britton Gabriele – 29th place (39:30); and Vincent Millican – 30th
place (43:57).
