GOODWELL, Okla. - Oklahoma Panhandle State football coach Kyle Davis has announced that 20 more excellent prospects will be joining the Aggies for the 2006 season. The new commitments bring the total number of recruits to 46.

The newest Aggies include:

Jacob Arthur (Offensive Line; Oklahoma City) – Arthur has good feet and good size and may see action on either side of the ball.

Ryan Brock (Kicker; Bethany, OK) - Second in the state in points scored, Brock did not miss an extra point and went 18 of 19 on field goals, including a 54-yarder.

Derek Burch (Linebacker; Oklahoma City) – Burch is a playmaker and a sure tackler who causes turnovers.

Scott Burdge (Offensive Line; Texhoma, OK) - Burdge is a good prospect who should compete for playing time.

Austin Cleland (Offensive Line; Alvine, TX) – A standout center, Cleland should make a solid contribution.

Nathan Edwards (Wide Receiver; Okmulgee, OK) – Edwards is a sure-handed receiver with good speed.

Matt Eisert (Offensive Line; Putnam City, OK) – Eisert will add depth to an already strong “O Line.”

Tyler Hamilton (Linebacker; Midwest City, OK) – A strong sideline to sideline playmaker, Hamilton should be a great addition to the Aggie defense.

Cody Hargis (Wide Receiver; Oklahoma City) – Hargis is a top overall athlete who may see action as a quarterback, receiver, or defensive back.

Eric Holt (Running Back; Tucumcari, NM) – Holt was the MVP of New Mexico’s state runner-up team and will go at slot back for the Aggies.

Erik McCarrol (Linebacker; Midwest City, OK) – McCarrol is a tough young player who can go at either linebacker or fullback.

Josh Mills (Defensive Line; Coffeyville, KS) – A motivated player from Coffeyville Community College, Mills should be ready to go immediately.

Okley Munson (Defensive Back; Highland, UT) – Munson is a motivated young player with a good attitude and is also an outstanding student.

Justin Red (Defensive Back; Palo Duro, TX) – Red brings good speed and excellent cover skills to the OPSU defense.

Author Render (Defensive Back; Miami, FL) – Render is a hard hitter with the ability to be an impact player for the Aggies.

Edward Rucker (Running Back; Oklahoma City) – A very capable fullback, Rucker plays very hard.

DeAngelo Stephany (Defensive Line; Oklahoma City) – Stephany’s presence on the defensive side of the ball will help immediately.

Tyler Tate (Linebacker; Okmulgee, OK) – Tate is an aggressive player with strong pass coverage ability.

Eddie Terrazas (Running Back; Oklahoma City) – Terrazas is a very capable fullback who should compete for playing time right away.

Conrad Waters (Offensive Line; Oklahoma City) – Waters is a great pickup for the Aggies and moves very well for a big man.

Things are pointing in the direction of major excitement from OPSU football in the coming fall.
