State “D” Lineman Gary Hendricks is a very
experienced football player who combines size, strength
and quickness and knows how to get the job done in the
middle. The six foot tall and 290-pounder was an All-IFA
performer last season.
Hendricks has meant business over the last two years as
a key component of the OPSU defense. As a sophomore, he
was in on 20 tackles, five tackles for losses and broke
up three passes. Last season he smashed his way to 40 tackles
and eight stops for losses.
The motto for the 2005 OPSU football team is “Hold
the Line” and Gary Hendricks (of Gainesville, Texas)
is one who can do just that. This big senior should have
a big season. |
